KTF Special General Meeting

Mombasa County Taekwondo Association was well represented at the recently concluded Special General Meeting held at the DCI Training School in South C. The meeting was organised by the Kenya Taekwondo Federation and brought together officials and stakeholders from different counties across the country.

The Special General Meeting was successfully conducted and focused on key governance and administrative matters aimed at strengthening the federation and ensuring transparency in its operations.

Key Agenda Items Discussed

During the meeting, members discussed and agreed on the following important agenda items.

Appointment of an Electoral Board

An independent electoral board was appointed to oversee the upcoming Kenya Taekwondo Federation elections and ensure a fair, transparent, and credible electoral process.

Development of Election Rules and Regulations

Clear rules and regulations for the Kenya Taekwondo Federation elections were discussed and agreed upon. These guidelines will help ensure order, fairness, and accountability during the election process.

Appointment of an Auditor

An auditor was appointed to support proper financial oversight and promote accountability within the federation.

Commitment to Good Governance

The Special General Meeting demonstrated the federation’s commitment to good governance, transparency, and proper leadership structures. The presence and participation of Mombasa County officials showed our continued dedication to contributing positively to the growth and proper management of Taekwondo in Kenya.
